Hunt

The first mode you will have access to is Hunt mode. The goal of this mode is to gain the most experience to win. At first the monsters that spawn will be easy and get progressively harder as the game goes on. A Hunt game lasts for 3:00 minutes. There is a healing pad at the spawn point that you can use to heal throughout the game if necessary. There is always a green arrow point towards this from your character. Also, if another Hunter dies there will briefly be a red arrow to point you towards their body. When a Hunter dies they drop their experience for you to pick up so make sure to follow the red arrow for a nice boost!

There are three different stages that can be played during Hunt mode depending on how many trophies your Hunter has. You will only have access to one stage from 0-100 trophies. Once you reach 100 trophies you will unlock the second stage. Finally, at 200 trophies you will unlock the final Hunt stage available. Whenever you play a Hunt game the stage is chosen randomly from the stages you have unlocked.

Stage 1: Grass (0-100 Trophies)

This stage has 4 different biomes. One in each corner of the map. This is also the only Hunt map with bridges if you have a Hunt Quest to "Hunt X monsters while standing on a bridge". The biomes are as follows:

Forest (North East)
  • Woody
  • Crow
  • Hungry Plant
  • Treant
  • Griffin
  • Worm Queen
Cave (South East)
  • Cyclops
  • Bat
  • Slime
  • Rock Golem
  • Gorgon
  • Crystal Keeper
Desert (South West)
  • Cactus
  • Snake
  • Scorpion
  • Big Cactus
  • Lizard
  • Dragon
Cemetery (North West)
  • Ghoul
  • Ghost
  • Skeleton Archer
  • Skeleton Knight
  • Skeleton Mage
  • Death Knight

Stage 2: Snow (100-200 Trophies)

This stage has does not have separate biomes for monsters to spawn. Most of the spawns are still focused to the corner of the map but they are random.

Stage 3: Desert (200+ Trophies)

This stage is similar to Stage 1. It has 4 different biomes. One in each corner of the map. The differences with this stage are that two of the strongest monsters spawn at the start of the game and there are teleporters to help you travel across the map. A Worm Queen spawns in the Forest biome and a Dragon spawns in the Desert biome. It can be a good strategy to try to get one of these kills early in the game to get a nice boost to your experience. The Worm Queen can be easy as it doesn't do damage until it begins to summon. Or you could try your luck with the dragon if you have the Death Strike ability. These two monsters won't respawn until the game progresses and they begin to spawn as usual. The biomes are as follows:

Forest (South West)
  • Woody
  • Crow
  • Hungry Plant
  • Treant
  • Griffin
  • Worm Queen
Cave (North West)
  • Cyclops
  • Bat
  • Slime
  • Rock Golem
  • MedusGorgon
  • Crystal Keeper
Desert (North East)
  • Cactus
  • Snake
  • Scorpion
  • Big Cactus
  • Lizard
  • Dragon
Cemetery (South East)
  • Ghoul
  • Ghost
  • Skeleton Archer
  • Skeleton Knight
  • Skeleton Mage
  • Death Knight

Strategy

When you first start this mode your selection of Hunters will be limited. You will get a lot of value from Hunters with the Death Strike and Life Steal abilities. Death Strike gives a 10% chance to instantly kill a monster upon dealing damage. This also has a change to trigger each time the damage is done if you have damage over time effects like poison or burn. The percent change for Death Strike to trigger will increase as you grab additional Death Strike abilities. Life Steal Heals you for 20% of the killed monster's max hp. This can save you time having to go back to the heal pad when starting out. The percent of healing increases with additional ability but usually one is enough. Another good ability can be Regen. this will give you 2% of your maxium HP every 2 seconds. This will also increase as you take additional abilities.

In the long run as you unlock better Hunters you may want to focus on the Movement Speed and More Xp abilities. You won't have an issue surviving so high mobility and increased experience rates will help you increase your score to help you win the game.

Good Hunters for this mode are Hunters with high mobility that can kill monsters and collect experience without having to stop. Also, Leprechaun is great because of all the additional experience abilities he can take and has no level cap once awakened.
