Hunt (Hardcore)
Hardcore Hunt is similar to the regular Hunt mode. The goal is the same which is to gain the most experience to win. To unlock
Hardcore Hunt you will require your Hunter must be at least level 8. This mode also works on the same concept
with the monsters starting to spawn as easier and get progressively harder as the game goes on. The difference is the starting
monsters are the harder ones for each biome. The Forest will spawn Griffin and Worm Queen, Cave will spawn Gorgon and Crystal Keeper,
Desert will spawn Lizard and Dragon, while Cemetery will spawn Skeleton mage and Death Knight. As the game goes on eventually the
monsters from the Kraken's Ship dungeon will begin to spawn. These are Kraken's Might, Kraken's Speed, and Kraken's Agility. Finally,
towards the end of the game monsters will begin to spawn from the Yeti's Tundra Dungeon. These will be Yeti's Pet, Yeti's Angry Pet,
and Yeti. A Hardcore Hunt game lasts for 2:00 minutes. There is a healing pad at the spawn point that you can use to heal throughout
the game if necessary. Also, if another Hunter dies there will briefly be a red arrow to point you towards their body. When a Hunter
dies they drop their experience for you to pick up so make sure to follow the red arrow for a nice boost!
There are different variations of the stage in the Hardcore Hunt mode but they are similar. The biomes are the same as mentioned
above but they do rotate around to different corners of the map depending on the stage. There are sometimes bridges in these maps
for the Hunt Quest "Hunt X monsters while standing on a bridge". Though, it is easier to do this quest though in the normal Hunt
mode.
Strategy
The strategy here is similar to Regular Hunt mode. The hardest thing in this mode will be starting off and getting your first few
levels. Since your Hunter is required to be level 8 you will have 2 permanent abilities unlocked. If you are using your hunter
for Hardcore Hunt it can be worth putting Death Strike or Life Steal in these slots so you have them right from the start of the
game. As usual once your Hunters are higher levels you will want to begin to take some Movement Speed and More Xp abilities to
increase your score.
Good Hunters for this mode are Hunters with high mobility that can kill monsters and collect experience without having to stop.
Also, Leprechaun is great because of all the additional experience abilities he can take and has no level cap once awakened.
